The graphical lines and shapes in Hokkaido, Japan make great compositions
The island of Hokkaido provides around a quarter of Japan's beef and dairy produce as well as a large proportion of vegetables.
When I was driving around I saw hundreds of these Cloches ( greenhouses) and as their plastic sheeting had been removed over the winter, the metal supports made interesting compositions in the pristine white snow. Most of the vegetables seem to be grown inside these structures... hence the huge numbers.
I spent quite a bit of time searching out cloches that made interesting graphical shapes and lines and these are some of my favourites...
