This lens is a 24mm tilt and shift lens which means you can set the focal plane in any specific way you like in order to create specific effects. The one I wanted to work with was one that ensured focus is sharp from the very front of the composition right through to the back. This involved using the tilt mechanism to drop the angle by a few degrees from the camera axis point. I used the sea defence structure in Poole Harbour as my testing point and I'm quite pleased with the result. More compositions need to be tested on!
