I'm very grateful to the management of the Jubilee Pool in Penzance for allowing me access into this iconic Lido. It has been voted the #1 Lido in the UK and I just had to include it on my list of Lidos to visit for my new project. I want to visit the top 10 and record their Art Deco architecture. Most of these pools were created in the 1930's and had fallen into disrepair but with the help of volunteers and grants , are making a comeback.

With such a short time to make images as the pool opened at 10am, I had to assess compositional opportunities very quickly. I like working very fast, but this really was a test as there were so many images I could see straight away!

I wanted to capture the Art Deco architecture as well as smaller details and reflections in the pool as I find these fascinating.
