Each of my books can be purchased either with or without small prints, see below an example of one of my Zine publications from the beautiful island of Guernsey in the Channel islands....
A Zine project is far more satisfying to undertake as it gives me...
When I go out on location anywhere in the UK, I do find it very hard to come back with just one 'definitive' image that tells the story of a place.
I'm very fortunate that my early training once I left College as a press photographer, taught me how to arrive at a place and quickly assess how best to take images that told the story.
Now, when I start a project, I can relax knowing that I'm looking to shoot more than one image. I now don't have the pressure of finding a unique and strong image.
Knowing in my head that the book requires 20 images, I can think how best to sequence my images and shoot accordingly.

A zine is usually a non – commercial, non professional publication, kind of like a magazine but with a twist. The main difference between a magazine and a zine is that zines are not out there to make a profit but, rather, to add other, often unheard voices into the mix. They are far more affordable than a regular book and are a great way to start following the work of an artist or photographer!
Don't forget that if you're a subscriber of my newsletter, then you can get some great discounts on all my prices at checkout!

I had wanted to photograph this Art Deco Lido for many years. It had been voted the #1 in England, so I needed to include it in my project list!
It took me quite a while to actually obtain agreement with the pool and finally I was allowed just one hour before the pool opened to the public, to go in and shoot as many images as I could.
This books shows as much as I could of the pool between 8- 9 am one morning. This book has 18 pages, is 8"x8" and with more than 25 images.

Poole port is a very busy container and ferry port. It normally is working 24/7 but after a great deal of negotiation, I was allowed to wander completely all over the port between 7-8am one Sunday morning!
All these images were taken during this time.

The weather forecast suggested the next morning was going to be a very misty one. I decided straight away to task myself with visiting this local beach and shooting as much as I could from dawn until just after sunrise.
All these images are a result... I hope you like them!

Cowes is the main town on the Isle of Wight which sits just outside Southampton water in Southern England.
It is famous primarily because of its world famous yacht racing regatta.
I wanted to take fine art style images of these beautiful racing yachts from a speedboat alongside them as they competed. I wanted to show both the wind power in the sails as well as the force of the hull cutting through the water.

This cover image was taken on my very last day of shooting on this beautiful island of Guernsey in the English Channel islands.
The storm was raging! I was hanging onto my tripod and getting soaked as I shot one great storm image after another!
The problem was... I had to leave to catch my flight back home, but this cover image will always hold such great memories!

Norfolk is an English county along the Eastern coastline.

Portishead Lido is a very traditional outdoor swimming pool that I had wanted to visit for quite some time.
Unfortunately it had been closed due to a lack of funding for some time and was gradually being restored to its full glory.
I gained access and the book contains some great images! As its close to Bristol it even has its own Banksy piece of art!
Suffolk is another English county along the Eastern coastline.
I spent a couple of days here exploring coastal areas as well as Europe's busiest container port at Felixstowe.

Swanage is a holiday resort town about 40 min drive from my home.
I visit quite frequently as there are always many different things to photograph... and there's a great cafe there as well that serves great Pasteis de Nata (Portuguese Custard Tarts)!
