As a landscape photographer it is a real challenge to get the image that you 'have in your mind's eye!'

I fully research a location: I check the weather forecasts, the tides, times for sunrise & sunset, where to park etc before setting out. When I arrive at the desired time at the location I'm invariably disappointed! It's never as it should be so all I can do is wait and wait for the conditions to get as close as they can to my pre- planned idea. Some of the images below were taken at a different time to the original one planned, but often resulted in a better composition. Printing images in a book format is very satisfying as you can study them far better than if they were published on a social media site. I hope you enjoy seeing this book.
